About the role

We are looking for a dedicated specialist to lead procurement and tender processes for a Greenlandic municipality. The role involves planning, executing and overseeing public procurements, managing contracts and ensuring sustainable, responsible purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct tenders for goods and services.
• Administer, monitor and develop the municipality’s contract portfolio.
• Coordinate and control IT licences and related contracts in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Follow up on supplier contracts, verify invoices and settlements against agreements.
• Analyse procurement areas and propose optimisation measures.
• Provide advice on tenders and quality assurance of agreements.
• Collaborate with various municipal divisions to ensure economically advantageous and high‑quality contracts.
• Support the development of sustainable and responsible procurement practices.

Required profile

• Higher education degree (bachelor’s or higher).
• Proven experience with public procurement, contract management and negotiation.
• Ability to handle complex tasks and work independently.
• Analytical, structured and strong relational skills.
• Clear communication and ability to cooperate across functional areas.
• Fluency in Danish; knowledge of Greenlandic is a plus.
