Office Assistant for Pilersitsivik Paamiut

About the role

The municipality is launching a production‑school‑like programme called Pilersitsivik in Paamiut. The Office Assistant will act as a mentor for young participants (16‑25 years) and handle various administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome new participants and act as the daily coordinator for the office.
• Record attendance, supervise the youths and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Provide guidance, training and motivation tailored to each participant’s needs.
• Communicate with parents, partner institutions and the programme’s management.
• Coordinate with colleagues at Pilersitsivik and Imarsiornermik Ilinniarfik on daily operations.

Required profile

• Experience or education in office administration or a related field.
• Patience, result‑orientation and ability to work with vulnerable youths.
• Strong collaboration skills and calmness under pressure.
• Fluency in Greenlandic.
