About the role

We are looking for two payroll consultants to join the Personnel Service of the municipality of Sermersooq. The role involves providing payroll advice and supporting employees in a dynamic department, with the opportunity to influence and improve payroll processing.

Key responsibilities

• Enter payroll data and review payroll calculations in the payroll system.
• Maintain master data, update templates and guidelines.
• Communicate and assist various departments on payroll questions.
• Execute regular payroll runs, including the annual run, and perform bookkeeping and reconciliation.
• Handle other tasks as required by the payroll department.

Required profile

• Relevant education or equivalent background.
• Experience with payroll and interest in the field.
• Ability to work systematically and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfort with meeting fixed deadlines.
• Adaptability and openness to new IT and payroll systems.
• Willingness to provide a criminal record certificate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with payroll software.
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
