About the role

The municipality seeks a dynamic leader to head the Inneruulat Youth Club, shaping its development, culture, and pedagogical direction. You will oversee activities for children and young people aged 9‑21, working evenings and collaborating with staff and the club council.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a new structure and vision for the club.
• Act as daily and strategic manager, coordinating with municipal leadership.
• Create an annual plan, facilitate professional sparring, and support cross‑club collaboration.
• Strengthen team cooperation and introduce innovative pedagogical methods.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for children, parents, and employees.

Required profile

• Relevant pedagogical education (e.g., teacher, pedagogue, or assistant).
• Proven leadership experience.
• Clear, stable communication style and a strong commitment to child welfare.
• Knowledge of children’s rights, reporting obligations, and professional boundaries.
• Psychological resilience and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Familiarity with IT, administration, and basic budgeting.
• Optional bilingual ability in Greenlandic/Danish or Greenlandic/English.
