About the role

As the Leader for Fishery Development you will set direction, inspire and develop a team of fishery consultants, turning the company’s ambition for Greenland’s fisheries into concrete initiatives. You will act as a key link between fishers, operations, authorities and other partners, influencing the development of the sector across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team of fishery consultants.
• Design and implement action plans for the development of fisheries.
• Build strong relationships and dialogue with fishers, authorities and interest organisations.
• Collaborate with operations to align fisheries, raw material supply and production capacity.
• Support fleet development, investments and new initiatives for fishers.
• Stay ahead of emerging opportunities and technological developments in the fishery sector.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in fisheries, FMCG or a related industry.
• Ability to set clear direction while empowering team members to take responsibility.
• Strong relationship‑building and cross‑stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Structured, result‑oriented work style with solid business understanding.
• Fluency in Danish and English; written and spoken Greenlandic is mandatory.
