About the role

Atuarfik Hans Lynge is seeking a qualified teacher to serve as the sole instructor for its special‑class program. The position involves delivering curriculum to students in grades 1‑10 within a supportive, development‑focused school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons for the special class, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes both academic and social development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership and parents to support each pupil’s progress.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.

Required profile

• Completed teacher training (seminarieruddannet lærer).
• Strong classroom leadership and resilience.
• Positive, engaged, responsible and proactive attitude.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
• Motivation to work in a flexible, development‑oriented school environment.

Required skills

• Experience using iPads as teaching tools.
• Basic competence with modern IT equipment (e.g., Apple TV, tablets).
