About the role

We are looking for a motivated team leader to help build Qeerpi, a new East Greenlandic craft and cultural centre. You will work from the ground up, shaping daily operations, supporting colleagues and contributing to the institution’s cultural mission.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate daily work among team members.
• Participate actively in sewing and craft work, especially Amaarngili.
• Ensure quality standards and efficient workflows.
• Support and mentor colleagues in their craft tasks.
• Help build the workshop (systue) and develop operational routines.
• Collaborate with management on the development of Qeerpi.
• Contribute to workshops, teaching sessions, events and other outreach activities.
• Share knowledge about Amaarngili, East Greenlandic craft and culture.
• Assist the transition from a traditional workshop to a cultural‑communication institution.

Required profile

• Experience in sewing and craft work, preferably with Amaarngili.
• Good knowledge of sewing machines and related techniques.
• Ability to take responsibility and lead a team.
• Independent, reliable and capable of creating structure.
• Strong collaboration and motivation skills.
• Passion for East Greenlandic culture, history and traditions.
• Eagerness to share knowledge and develop new ideas.
