Financial Controller – HQ, Sisimiut

About the role

KNI, Greenland's largest trade and service company, is looking for a Financial Controller to join its controller team at the headquarters in Sisimiut. You will work closely with the accounting manager and colleagues across the organisation, influencing processes, systems and reporting while supporting the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Lead budgeting activities and monitor performance against budgets.
• Provide controlling support across all business units.
• Optimize and modernise finance processes.
• Play an active role in the implementation of the ERP system (Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations).
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and deliver business‑focused insights.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics or finance (e.g., HD(R), Cand. Merc. Aud) with solid experience in audit or a similar Financial Controller role.
• Proven experience in accounting, reporting and controlling.
• Structured work style, ownership mindset and ability to take responsibility.
• Fluent in Danish, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical curiosity, independent thinking and a drive to improve processes.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and ERP implementation projects.
