About the role

Kammagiit is looking for a maternity substitute to work in its activity and social programme for adults (18+) with physical and/or mental disabilities. The role involves supporting users in daily routines, ensuring a safe and structured environment, and contributing to individual development plans.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with users, relatives and staff to follow and evaluate individual action plans.
• Provide daily support, including personal care, cleaning, and assistance with employment activities.
• Facilitate social interaction, exercise, swimming and other activities tailored to users' interests and development stages.
• Develop and document activity plans, status reports and contribute to continuous improvement of services.

Required profile

• Education in a social‑care field.
• Motivation to make a difference for users with disabilities.
• Ability to work independently, be flexible and have a positive outlook.
• Team player with a sense of humour.
• Experience working with physical and/or mental disabilities and with creating development plans and reports.
• Preferably bilingual in Danish and Greenlandic.
