About the role

The municipality is looking for a pedagog or a professional with a similar qualification to work as a support person for adults with physical and mental disabilities living in Nuuk. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week) with typical office hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am–4 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support to adults with disabilities, helping them maintain a normal routine and independence.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans together with each citizen.
• Accompany citizens to public places such as hospitals, emergency rooms, and other community services.

Required profile

• Engaged, with a positive outlook on life.
• Responsible, able to work independently and follow the care plan.
• Patient and able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatry, social services, physiotherapy, and the correctional system.
