About the role

Paarsisoq, a combined nursery and preschool serving up to 90 children, is looking for a qualified Social Helper to join its team. The role involves supporting children across several age groups and collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well‑being.
• Participate in pedagogical discussions and help plan educational activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, department heads, and other staff to maintain a nurturing environment.
• Support the implementation of the institution’s values, such as respectful communication and clear boundaries.

Required profile

• Completed education as a Social Helper.
• Initiative, responsibility, and willingness to engage in pedagogical discussions.
• Creativity in designing activities for children.
• Positive, approachable attitude toward children, staff, and parents.
• Stability and familiarity with the local area.
