Projektchef – Ledende rolle i stort byggeprojekt i Vestgrønland

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and decisive Project Manager to lead a large‑scale total‑contract construction project in western Greenland. Reporting directly to the CEO and the board chairman, you will be the key resource from project kickoff through final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate 3‑5 site managers, 3‑6 subcontractors and up to 30 hourly workers.
• Organise status and follow‑up meetings, ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee safety, health and environmental compliance on the construction site.
• Drive day‑to‑day construction management and close coordination with the director on financial control.
• Handle post‑project cost reconciliation, evaluation and timely, quality‑focused delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large construction projects to schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Strong "get‑it‑done" attitude that can be transferred to the on‑site team.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to build a clear project organisation with defined roles and decision paths.
• Construction‑technical education and high work capacity.
• Visible leadership style with the ability to delegate, control and develop staff.
