About the role

Join Greenland's largest bank as an Economics Assistant, supporting the Finance Department with a variety of financial and administrative tasks. You will work within a dedicated team of five, reporting directly to the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative control, interest calculation and reconciliation for the bank's tax‑favoured savings product.
• Control and disburse student loans.
• Handle ongoing accounting tasks and support departmental controls.
• Contribute to other financial and administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including debit and credit.
• Ability to carry out reconciliations and controls with high quality.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant economic education (e.g., Merkonom, Finance Economist, Office‑trained) and several years of experience in a finance department.
• Proficiency with Excel as a primary work tool.
• Structured, independent, and responsible work style with a desire for professional development.
