About the role

Rambøll Grønland is expanding its portfolio of harbour and marine projects and seeks a civil or construction engineer to join the infrastructure department. The role involves working on a variety of tasks from renovation and new builds to strategic planning for Arctic engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all project phases – registration, design, and execution – for harbour and marine constructions along the Greenlandic coast.
• Deliver technical solutions for renovation, new construction, and strategic planning, often in interdisciplinary project teams.
• Travel to project sites in Nuuk, Sisimiut, Ilulissat and other coastal locations as required.

Required profile

• Outgoing, engaged, flexible and solution‑oriented personality able to thrive in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience with calculations of spun structures, geotechnical analyses, and steel‑ and concrete‑structure design.
• Ability to prepare detailed work descriptions and documentation.
• Familiarity with Revit or MicroStation for modelling.
• Optional experience in construction project management, site management, or project leadership.
• Knowledge of Plaxis or similar geotechnical calculation software is a plus.
