About the role

We are looking for a motivated specialist to lead procurement and tender processes for a Greenlandic municipality. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring sustainable and cost‑effective purchases, and supporting various departments with expert advice.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute tenders for goods and services.
• Administer, monitor and develop the municipality’s contract portfolio.
• Coordinate IT‑license management and related contracts in collaboration with relevant units.
• Follow up on supplier contracts, verifying invoices and settlements against agreements.
• Analyze and optimise procurement areas.
• Provide advice on tenders and ensure quality of agreements.
• Collaborate with municipal departments to achieve economic and quality goals.
• Promote sustainable and responsible procurement practices.

Required profile

• Higher education (long‑term academic degree).
• Proven experience with tenders, contract management and negotiations.
• Ability to handle complex tasks and take responsibility.
• Analytical, structured mindset and strong relationship‑building skills.
• Good understanding of economics, contract follow‑up and controlling.
• Clear communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Fluent in Danish; Greenlandic is a plus but not mandatory.
