About the role

Maligiaq, a large integrated early‑childhood institution in Nuuk, is looking for two qualified social educators to join its team. You will contribute to creating a safe, developmental and meaningful daily environment for children aged 0‑6 years.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities based on the needs of each child group.
• Create secure, inclusive and predictable routines while fostering positive relationships between children and adults.
• Observe and monitor each child's wellbeing and development, contributing to collective pedagogical reflection.
• Collaborate respectfully with parents, colleagues, management and multidisciplinary partners.
• Support structure, healthy meals, hygiene and active outdoor play.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional discussions and the development of institutional practice.

Required profile

• Qualified social educator (socialpædagog).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Curious, constructive and willing to engage in pedagogical dialogue.
• Caring, stable, present and clear in interactions with children.
• Flexible and adaptable in a busy, varied environment.
• Professional communication with children, parents and colleagues.
• Good knowledge of Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, not a requirement.
