Financial Controller

About the role

KNI, Greenland's largest trade and service company, is seeking a Financial Controller to join its central finance team in Sisimiut. You will work closely with the accounting manager and colleagues across headquarters and regional sites, supporting a business that keeps the entire country supplied.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Lead budgeting processes and monitor performance against targets.
• Provide controlling and analytical support across all business units.
• Drive optimisation and modernisation of finance processes.
• Play an active role in the implementation of the ERP system (Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations).
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance or accounting (e.g., HD(R), Cand. Merc. Aud) with solid experience in audit or a similar controller role.
• Proven experience in accounting, reporting and controlling.
• Structured work style, ownership mindset and ability to take responsibility.
• Fluent in Danish, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical curiosity and willingness to improve processes.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel competence.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
